Description

Few floors can match the beauty and quality of this outstanding engineered wooden floor. Featuring a stunning, warm design, this floor is perfect for use in the bedroom, lounge or dining room. It comes with a fantastic brushed UV oiled surface. This not only adds great protection to the floor, but it also enhances its visual appeal too, revealing the harsher, deeper grains of the wood. The manufacturers are so confident in the floor’s durability, they even provide a brilliant 20-year wear guarantee.

The planks measure 127mm wide and come in various lengths from 300mm to 1200mm. At 14mm deep, the floor is comfortable and solid underfoot and it also incorporates a 3mm wear layer. Although it is suitable for use with underfloor heating, not all systems will be compatible. Therefore, it’s recommended you check manufacturer guidelines before installation. The installation process is quick and straightforward thanks to a tongue and groove system. However, we do have full installation guidelines available if needed.

How to Measure Your Room

  • First you will need a tape measure, note book and a pen. Always use a good tape measure that is easy to read and measure twice as a double check to safeguard against any mistakes.
  • You must establish which are the widest and the longest parts of the room. This should also include any bay windows, alcoves, entrances or exits from the room.
  • A quick tip, you should always measure from the middle of the door frame and not skirting to skirting and always allow a little more in case your room is not square.
  • When you have taken all the measurements that are required (meters not imperial) simply multiply them together to give the square meters. If there are more than two areas to measure in the room follow the same procedure and then add them together.
  • Once all your measurements have been taken and are converted into square meters it is advisable to add 10% not just for cutting or miss measurements but also any damage is caused after installation. In the case of real wood flooring there maybe planks that are not to your liking and you may wish not to install these.
