The divine 18mm Herringbone engineered antique oak brushed matt lacquer flooring adds a rustic, high-end feel to the home. As the light catches the brushed matt lacquer coating, it highlights the beautiful contrasting light, medium and dark tones. Durability is its main quality, offering fantastic resistance to everyday wear and tear. Its depth, combined with the tough lacquered coating ensures the floor looks great for up to 20 years. Being constructed from nature grade wood, it benefits from very few imperfections. This helps to leave a more blended and attractive look. The planks are fitted with a tongue and groove installation system. This type of system is notoriously easy to use and it also provides a very tight fit, ensuring the planks stay firmly in place. If you want a floor that’s going to not only look fantastic, but which will last for years and provide great value for money, this is a brilliant choice. How to Measure Your Room

  • First you will need a tape measure, note book and a pen. Always use a good tape measure that is easy to read and measure twice as a double check to safeguard against any mistakes.
  • You must establish which are the widest and the longest parts of the room. This should also include any bay windows, alcoves, entrances or exits from the room.
  • A quick tip, you should always measure from the middle of the door frame and not skirting to skirting and always allow a little more in case your room is not square.
  • When you have taken all the measurements that are required (meters not imperial) simply multiply them together to give the square meters. If there are more than two areas to measure in the room follow the same procedure and then add them together.
  • Once all your measurements have been taken and are converted into square meters it is advisable to add 10% not just for cutting or miss measurements but also any damage is caused after installation. In the case of real wood flooring there maybe planks that are not to your liking and you may wish not to install these.
