Description

Considered one of the best in its class, the 18mm solid oak 90mm lacquered wooden flooring is a strong, stylish and luxurious floor. Rustic grade wood is used to construct an authentic design; incorporating natural imperfections such as knots and sapwood. This particular style has a sophisticated, high-end look that would fit in perfectly in either the lounge or home office. Its quality is unmatched and its longevity makes it an ideal option for both high-traffic homes and businesses. One of its leading advantages is the fact it is supplied in various lengths. The planks measure from 300mm to 1200mm, allowing for total flexibility during installation. The installation method is also simple, as you benefit from a tongue and groove system. You can find more details in our great PDF installation guide, or via the installation video. Its durability is credited to both its depth and lacquered finish; ensuring it looks fantastic for years to come. How to Measure Your Room

  • First you will need a tape measure, note book and a pen. Always use a good tape measure that is easy to read and measure twice as a double check to safeguard against any mistakes.
  • You must establish which are the widest and the longest parts of the room. This should also include any bay windows, alcoves, entrances or exits from the room.
  • A quick tip, you should always measure from the middle of the door frame and not skirting to skirting and always allow a little more in case your room is not square.
  • When you have taken all the measurements that are required (meters not imperial) simply multiply them together to give the square meters. If there are more than two areas to measure in the room follow the same procedure and then add them together.
  • Once all your measurements have been taken and are converted into square meters it is advisable to add 10% not just for cutting or miss measurements but also any damage is caused after installation. In the case of real wood flooring there maybe planks that are not to your liking and you may wish not to install these.
